About the Project
SmartEd – AI Integration in Schools is an innovative Erasmus+ project focused on transforming education through the effective use of artificial intelligence (AI). The project aims to support inclusive education by equipping teachers with the skills and tools needed to integrate AI into their teaching practices and better address the diverse needs of learners.
Bringing together partner organizations from across Europe, SmartEd fosters international collaboration to develop modern, student-centered learning approaches. The project responds to the growing need for personalized education, especially for students with special educational needs, by leveraging AI-driven solutions.
The main objectives of the project are:
- to enhance teachers’ competencies in applying AI for inclusive education,
- to develop adaptive learning modules tailored to individual student needs,
- to create an AI-based learning platform that provides personalized learning experiences,
- to promote key competencies and equal learning opportunities for all students.
To achieve these goals, the project includes a range of activities such as international meetings, teacher training programs, pilot testing of educational tools, webinars, and dissemination events. These activities ensure both the practical implementation and wide visibility of project results.
As a result, SmartEd will deliver:
- a comprehensive teacher training program on AI integration,
- innovative adaptive learning materials,
- and a digital learning platform designed to support inclusive and personalized education.
Ultimately, the project contributes to building a more inclusive, innovative, and future-ready education system, where technology empowers both teachers and learners.
